Biography

Johann Clere currently serves as Vice President, Strategy & Portfolio where he oversees the global commercial pipeline and go-to-market strategies.

He brings more than 20 years experiences in strategy, innovation and business development at the global scale.

Before joining LanzaTech in 2022 Johann Clere spend 17 years at Veolia with headquarters in France, a global industry leader designing and providing solutions that are both useful and practical for water, waste and energy management. At Veolia Johann Clere holds leadership positions such as global business development director at Veolia Water Technologies as well as group open innovation director and global head of carbon capture for the whole company.

Johann Clere holds an Engineering Master Degree from INSA Lyon, France and received a short executive education at Harvard Business School on Creating Shared Value.
