Biography

Satinder Pal (SP) Singh has been part of the energy transition for the past several decades. A veteran of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) industry, SP was until recently the Chief Executive Officer of Adani TotalEnergies Private Limited. Under his leadership this Joint Venture delivered India’s seventh LNG import terminal at Dhamra and established itself as a prominent natural gas marketer in India. He played a key role in bringing Adani & TotalEnergies together and develop long term strategic relations with both Indian Oil and GAIL India. Previously in his 19 years with Shell, he led several assignments for creating new markets in South Asia, Middle East and North Africa and originating long-term supply opportunities in these markets. Some of his salient achievements in Shell included commercializing the Baja terminal with Sempra in Mexico, originating the supply contract into Dubai with the local government and playing a founding role in the Hazira project.

With a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Masters in Business Administration, SP has lived, studied and worked across five continents. He is married to Dr. Vonita Singh, and together they run a not for profit foundation that aims to help those with mobility challenges. They have two daughters that live in the UK and Australia respectively.
