Biography

With over 30 years of experience, Julie Zarraga has been in the business of providing technical solutions to clients worldwide, from pilot to commercial-scale. She joined LanzaTech from Merichem Gas Technologies, where she was Director of Process Technology, managing all the technical groups (Engineering, Technical and Field Services, Technical Sales Support, and R&D initiatives). Her career started at Honeywell-UOP, where for almost 20 years, she led during construction, commissioning, start-up, and guarantee testing phases of commercial plants; developed and designed first of a kind processes; and, through innovation and value engineering, implemented cost-effective improvements for core technologies. 

Julie heads the Engineering department at LanzaTech and leads design and start-up of LanzaTech’s commercial unit installations.
