Sangeet Jain
Sangeet Jain is an accomplished industry leader with 40 years of experience spanning clean technologies, green chemicals, large-scale manufacturing, and strategic sustainability initiatives. He is currently serving as a Board Member and Managing Director at LanzaTech Pvt. Ltd., the Indian subsidiary of LanzaTech, Inc., a global pioneer in carbon transformation and gas fermentation technologies.
His work supports the deployment of carbon recycling platforms that convert agricultural residues, municipal waste, and industrial CO/CO₂ emissions into high-value products such as ethanol and sustainable aviation fuel.
Before joining LanzaTech, Sangeet spent 25 years at India Glycols Limited, a leading manufacturer of green and renewable-resource–based chemicals. He played a key role in commissioning, stabilization, and optimization of multiple chemical plants based on renewable fed stocks. His contributions included building high-performance operational teams, improving process efficiency, and helping the company emerge as a recognized producer of low-carbon chemicals.
Sangeet holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from IT-BHU, Varanasi (1986).
