Biography

George Dimitrov joined LanzaTech in 2015 as Corporate Controller and has served as the company’s Vice President of Finance since 2017. Previously, George has held various finance and accounting roles, including Interim Principal Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer at Cosi, as well as Corporate Controller at Cosi and 1-800-Flowers, both of which publicly-traded on NASDAQ. George has led SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, operational finance, treasury and tax functions, and information system integration projects. He also played key roles in public offerings and private placements.

George holds a B.A. in Applied Economics from the American University in Bulgaria and attended DePaul University’s M.Sc. in Distributed Systems program. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
