Tom Dower
Tom Dower, VP Public Policy for LanzaTech, has over 25 years’ experience in Washington, DC in government and industry, specializing in energy and climate policy. Prior to joining LanzaTech, he was Senior Director, Government Relations for ArcelorMittal, the world’s leading steel and mining company. Tom previously served over 15 years in the U.S. Senate for Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) including as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director, and as Senior Climate Advisor on the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science & Transportation for Chairman Rockefeller (D-WV). He was also VP for Lighthouse Consulting Group representing the U.S. Climate Action Partnership and energy sector clients.
Tom holds degrees from Keystone Jr. College and The American University.
