Jim Woodger
Jim Woodger is an environmental chemical engineer, who started his career with Honeywell-UOP, with roles in R&D, engineering, and 5 years commissioning oil refineries around the world. In 2007, he was a founding member of UOP’s Renewable Energy & Chemicals business unit that commercialized the UOP HEFA Green Jet & Green Diesel technology. In 2012, Jim joined Solazyme in California to undertake business development activities for sustainable products made from algae. Since Corbion’s acquisition of Solazyme in 2017, Jim has been responsible for the growth of Corbion Algae ingredients into animal feed, oil & gas, and personal care.
Jim recently joined LanzaTech to scale-up the UK team and drive forward numerous projects based on LanzaTech’s gas fermentation and Alcohol-To-Jet technologies.
