Chad Thompson
Chad Thompson joined LanzaTech in October 2022 and serves as its Chief People Officer. He is responsible for the company’s human resources function.
Before joining LanzaTech, Chad spent almost 24 years in Human Resources with Chevron, having led HR organizations of increasing complexity in Latin America, Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe, and North America.
Before joining Chevron, Chad worked in the power generation, software engineering, and business process outsourcing industries. His background includes in-depth experience in all areas of HR across the lifecycle of a company: rapid growth, consolidation, maturity, decline and divestment.
Chad was born in the U.K. and holds a B.Sc. in Management from the University of the West Indies, Barbados, and an M.A. in Organizational Management from Fielding Institute in Santa Barbara, California.
